Service Description
Presenting The Action House fight workshop, a 1 day class where you will transfer existing martial arts experience & skills and adapt & apply them into fighting for film/screen. You'll be learning about fighting in front of the camera whether as a lead fight double; as a background fighter or if you're required to fight cast members, making sure you understand all the important fundamentals like distance; timing; control and how to perform for camera through the use of vocals; acting techniques and camera angles through the use of live visual feedback. The workshop will incorporate a variety of different fight styles and beats whilst also covering base reactions & impacts. Basic armed & unarmed group and partner work will be integrated within this workshop and it is highly recommended to bring a back protector, elbows/forearm, knees/shins & hip pads. They can be soft pads as the floor you will be training on is fully matted and be sure to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing, something you can move easily around in as this is a very physical workshop. If you find you need to cancel and it is less than 7 days notice, you may transfer your place to someone else but it will be your responsibility to sort payment out with them and their details must be supplied to me at least 72hrs before the course/session start date. In the event you have to cancel, we will do everything we can to help fill the space and avoid you losing any money paid.
